However, this shrimp defies the very basics of what it means to be a regular shrimp. This one was found in Oregon, it’s called Cystisoma and it’s completely see-through! There’s literally nothing there! No brains, no nerves, no nothing. Yet, the shrimp it’s still alive and kicking. The whole thing just looked like it was made out of glass yet, alive somehow! It’s one of the creepiest, yet most intriguing shrimp we’ve ever laid eyes on. Scary Feather duster Usually, you’d expect a feathery animal to be from above the sea, not under it. But this mystical sea creature just lives to prove everything you thought about the world wrong. It pretty much looks like a feather duster came to life, went under the sea, and is trying to get revenge on an innocent diver. They’re called crinoids, and have been on Earth for 300 million years before dinosaurs even existed! So they’re basically living fossils. In the past few centuries, they’ve evolved to be much smaller than they initially used to be, but that doesn’t make them any less scary!
